“The AELC Conference offers sophisticated in-house counsel the chance to teach and learn from the best. I wouldn’t miss it.”

Welcome to the American Employment Law Council (AELC)

The AELC is the nation’s premier organization of high level labor and employment attorneys practicing on the management side. Its members include both in-house and outside counsel. The goal of our annual conference is to provide the highest quality leaning experience, combined with the opportunity to exchange ideas with your peers in the profession. At our intensive three-day seminar, senior partners in major law firms and top in-house counsel share defense techniques and other tips. The program alternates each year between the East Coast and the West Coast. Membership is by invitation only.

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION NOTICE: AELC’S CONFERENCE AT THE RITZ-CARLTON, DOVE MOUNTAIN OCTOBER 14-17, 2020

The AELC Board sincerely regrets to inform you that we have decided to cancel the October 2020 Conference at Dove Mountain in Arizona.

Unfortunately, the leading experts agree that Covid-19 will not go away soon, and there is a high likelihood of a Fall resurgence when no vaccine will yet be available to the public. Because of the impossibility of hosting a conference without risking the health and safety of our conference attendees and the realities of planning a successful conference under the circumstances, the Board has unanimously made the decision not to host the conference.

We know that the convergence of our members at the annual conference is a key highlight of our organization. Until we can gather again at an October conference, we look forward to developing alternative ways to continue to interact and learn from each other, and we welcome ideas from our members.

In the meantime, we wish the best of health and safety to you and your loved ones. -The AELC Board of Directors”
